Legends of Slots
Legends of Slots sounds like one thing and plays like another. It is really a tile-arranging puzzle built around spinning reels of symbols. Each turn shuffles a column of icons, and your job is to line up matching shapes to clear the grid and keep your combo meter alive. The clever part is that you choose which reel to lock before it stops, so there is genuine planning under the surface.
Control-wise it is a joy on a phone. You tap a reel to hold it, swipe to shift rows, and double tap to commit. Everything happens with one thumb, which is exactly what you want on a train. The difficulty ramps slowly, introducing new symbol types that chain off each other, and by the later stages you are juggling three or four overlapping goals at once.
What won me over was how readable the board stays even when it gets busy. The animations are quick, the colour palette keeps symbols distinct, and losing a combo never feels unfair. It is a smart little brain-tickler that respects your time.
