Tower Defence Habits That Save Your Runs
After years of playing tower defence on my phone, I have noticed the same mistakes cost me runs again and again. Most of them come from reacting instead of planning.
The first habit is reading the map before you place anything. Count the path corners and find the longest stretch where enemies cluster. That is where your slow and area-damage towers belong, not scattered evenly for the sake of it.
Second, resist the urge to spend every coin the moment you have it. Holding a small reserve lets you respond to a surprise wave or grab a timely upgrade instead of starting from scratch mid-fight.
Third, learn which enemies ignore which defences. Flying units, armoured units, and fast swarms all punish a one-note layout. A balanced spread almost always beats a tall tower of one type.
None of this is flashy, but these little routines are the difference between barely surviving and clearing a map with resources to spare.
